What is on my heart to write about is fear versus love and choice.
Not to minimize what is taking place - ever, I offer a perspective that you can choose to accept or not, some portion or all.
Viruses have been around, and they get around. They are contagious, and they spread. You can do well by keeping them at bay or eradicating them like a weed or people you do not approve of, but sometimes what you resist persists.
What is the lesson a pandemic virus potential offers us? Look to the origin. Where did this get started? Where are we as a human species being irresponsible with that which is under our care?
Stewards of the planet, plant, and animal kingdom are we. What are we doing about our stewardship legacy? At some point along the path of evolution, nature is going to rebel.
Yet, what if we use nature to heal ourselves from nature instead of fighting it synthetically or otherwise?
There is the law of the jungle that says if the poisonous plant is within 100 feet of your field, the remedy/antidote is as well.
Pay attention. This period is the learning, the investment we must make as a human species at this critical juncture of our evolution.
During the Black Plague in the 13th century, robbers did not get the disease. They used a combination of plant oils. Namely cinnamon, clove, cardamon to name a few.
Now how could it be that something like a thief could provide a solution? Just like your health, your joy & love can be snatched away from you. Don't give your power to a thief. But learn the lesson of what the conflict, disease or injury teaches you. Ah, the blessings of adversity.
If you lose something or it is taken from you, you either fight or you succumb, but either way, recovery in this world or the next, will be a choice for you.
In other words, if you already have the virus, you are going to be on a battlefield. If you are free of the virus, there are things you can do to prevent it from landing in your sphere of influence. The Center for Disease Control made suggestions pretty close to common sense. I do not need to mention here, because you can find it online. if you do have anxiety, there is a very informative article I posted on The New Hum Ezine.
Fear is a virus you can catch. It spreads.
The root word of fear comes from a definition that means "in awe or reverence of supreme power."
Personally, as someone that has faced many fears and overcome them, I only have been able to do so because I humbly give my awe and reverence to the Supreme Power of all of life. Period.
I invite you not to place anyone or anything, virus, or otherwise to overshadow the love you have for another. Focus on appreciation, heart. It is what will give you the peace to face any mortality or other challenges.
In this transformational time, aim to make a conscious choice to follow and align with your Higher Power and intuit solutions not just for you but for the betterment of humanity.
Bottom line, if you want to catch a Divine Love virus, then start spreading it right where you are:
Let someone go ahead of you in traffic that is in a bigger hurry.
Hold your palm over your heart when speaking your truth.
Say a prayer for all of the human suffering, not just your own.
Create random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty.
Come into healthy stewardship of the planet, plants, and animals.
No one is immune to the changes taking place on the planet. You may catch the Coronavirus, and you may not. But, one thing is clear; there is a definite battle between love and fear going on in every dynamic imaginable right now. Which one will win? The one to whom you give your attention and power.
